Breaking load
| The breaking load test in accordance with EN 14190 ensures that the products can bear 5 times their own weight. This means e.g. a non-perforated Belgravia tile is tested with a load of up to 17 kg without any damage to the tile. The purpose of the test is to secure the stability of the ceiling. However, the maximum weight of fittings that can be incorporated in a tile in practice is specified for each product and determined as 2½ times own weight, based on the maximum deflection in accordance with EN 13964. |
