| General cleaning to remove dust can be carried out using a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment and minor soiling for example from fingerprints can be easily removed using a damp cloth and where necessary a mild neutral detergent solution. Stubborn marks and damages can be wiped clean and then repainted – see further advice on maintenance. All Knauf Danoline surface finishes can tolerate normal cleaning practices employed in public, institutional and residential buildings.The foil and high gloss finishes are particularly suitable in situations where micro-organisms are present, due to both the hard, smooth surface and the fact that they are exceptionally easy to clean. Where harsh detergents or rigorous cleaning regimes are employed for example in hospitals and similar areas where infection control must be observed, the white foil finish is best suited, being not only exceptionally easy to clean but also able to tolerate cleaning and disinfection agents from pH 2 – 13. |
