Read more What type of furring can be used for installation of Designpanel?
Designpanel can be mounted on either steel, i.e. CD profiles, or on wooden furring, e.g. 45x45mm or 22x95mm battens.
Read more Can Designpanel be mounted directly onto a hard surface (e.g. 13mm gypsum boards)?
No.
For optimal acoustic effect, Designpanel must be mounted on 45mm furring with mineral wool backing.

Read more Where should the steam blocking be placed?
The steam blocking must not be placed directly on to the perforated gypsum board. For acoustic reasons and in order to prevent partial vacuum, the steam blocking is to be placed min. 10mm away from the perforated gypsum board.
Read more How many perforated gypsum boards are necessary in a room?
In private houses, the amount of perforated gypsum board necessary can be calculated by means of the formula: Volume (m³) x 0.18 = m² of perforated gypsum boards. Learn more about use of Danoline products in private houses under DIY.
