In general, the difference between a wall angle and a shadow trim line lies in the aesthetical effect. The wall angle acts like a frame around the ceiling, whereas a shadow trim line a floating effect.

What type of furring can be used for installation of Designpanel?
Designpanel can be mounted on either steel, i.e. CD profiles, or on wooden furring, e.g. 45x45mm or 22x95mm battens.
Can Designpanel be mounted directly onto a hard surface (e.g. 13mm gypsum boards)?
No.
For optimal acoustic effect, Designpanel must be mounted on 45mm furring with mineral wool backing.

Where should the steam blocking be placed?
The steam blocking must not be placed directly on to the perforated gypsum board. For acoustic reasons and in order to prevent partial vacuum, the steam blocking is to be placed min. 10mm away from the perforated gypsum board.
How many perforated gypsum boards are necessary in a room?
